El Himno Nacional de Sudáfrica fue creado en 1994. Proviene de la fusión del antiguo himno nacional "Die Stem" (creado por Cornelio Langenhoven y Martin de Viliers) y la canción bantú "Nkosi Sikeleli Afrika" creada en el siglo XIX por Enoch Mankanyi Nsotonga.
